About the Project
A multi-disciplinary effort dedicated to the rigorous scientific documentation and digital preservation of the Durupınar formation in the Ararat highlands.
Project Mandate
Our core mandate is objective, empirical data acquisition. The programme operates strictly on scientific principles, deploying surveying technology to record the terrain as it is. We separate material reality from assumption through rigorous methodology.
Noah's Ark Scans is a multidisciplinary field research initiative involving geological observation, topographic analysis, scan-based documentation and field media documentation. Every record enters the archive with its acquisition parameters, keeping the findings auditable and open to peer review.
Approach & Ethics
Non-Destructive Survey
Zero-impact data collection. Ground-penetrating radar and drone photogrammetry enable high-resolution mapping without compromising the integrity of the site.
Open Data Access
Verified sensor data is distributed to accredited academic and research institutions. Unrestricted scientific scrutiny is essential to the validity of the findings.
Site Preservation
All field operations follow international site conservation and environmental protection protocols. Conservation of the site governs every operational decision.
What This Project Is and Is Not
- An ongoing geophysical survey of the Durupınar formation
- Non-destructive documentation under scientific protocols
- An open archive prepared for independent review
- A claim of confirmed discovery
- A religious or historical authentication effort
- A sensational expedition narrative
The survey is carried out by a Türkiye-based field team working with international collaborators. For research collaboration and institutional data access, use the contact channels.
